The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County is ending hunger and transforming the health of Santa Barbara County through good nutrition.
During the COVID-19 crisis, the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County has a huge strategic responsibility across the county to provide food and services to 300+ nonprofits. The need to provide emergency food to the thousands who are and will continue to be laid off from work will fall on us, especially when unemployment and food stamp offices are overwhelmed and struggling to be responsive.
We urgently need help to deal with this tidal wave of demand, an activity we did not budget for. Learn more.
Grassini Gives Back
Local Santa Barbara Winery Grassini Family Vineyards is giving back for the holidays with their annual “Grassini Gives Back” campaign, and we are honored to be the beneficiaries! For this year’s Grassini Gives Back fundraiser, they are donating $10 from every bottle of wine sold through 12/20 to the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County. And to bring a little extra sunshine to folks during these dark times, they’ll double that donation amount for every bottle of their 2019 Happy Canyon Sauvignon Blanc (which has been dubbed “sunshine in a glass!”). Head to https://www.grassinifamilyvineyards.com/Wines to purchase!
Whether or not you purchase wine, Grassini will DOUBLE your donation – that means you can make TWICE the impact! Head to the link below to donate & give the gift of health this holiday season.

This year, the need for healthy food has more than doubled as our community has been impacted by COVID-19. Your donation directly supports our efforts to purchase enough food for everyone facing hunger within our community.
Help families, neighbors and community members put nutritious food on the table this holiday season.
Since 2012, the JOINJACOB triathlon team, led by brothers Jacob, 16, and Joseph, 14, races in the Santa Barbara Triathlon to raise funds that help the Foodbank offer healthy food and nutrition education to kids, families, and seniors in our community. A pandemic has only strengthened these young men’s resolve to ensure healthy food for all. For 2020, you can support their virtual campaign via the link above.
