Food from the Bar
Summer should be a time of health and hope, not hunger, for Santa Barbara County children.
Each summer, the legal community comes together for one purpose: to end hunger for children in Santa Barbara County, where 1 in 5 experience food insecurity.
Participating firms and companies fundraise to support End Summer Hunger, a Foodbank campaign that provides free, healthy lunches to children countywide each weekday from June through August.
Over the past 8 years, Food From The Bar has raised over $100,000 and provided food for nearly 1 million meals. Join us this summer and help us reach a goal of $10,000 and 100,000 meals for kids.

End Summer Hunger
All throughout summer and all over Santa Barbara County, we will be providing nutritious lunches every day to children who normally receive lunches at school. For many children, their school lunch is the only reliable meal of the day. For them, summer break means hunger.
Santa Barbara Unified School District prepares fresh balanced meals each day for each site. Located in parks, libraries, and school yards, the lunches also help to facilitate healthy physical activity and promote curiosity and learning.
