Let’s End Hunger in Our County

Wondering how to help? Here are 5 easy ways you can support the Foodbank’s effort to provide food to seniors, families, and individuals in Santa Barbara County during the COVID-19 crisis.

Donate Now      Volunteer or Give Masks      Start A Fundraiser

  1. Donate: Financial donations go the furthest! They allow us to leverage our unique bulk buying power and relationships to maximize the amount of food that can be purchased per dollar. Give online at https://donate.foodbanksbc.org/campaign/covid-19-response/c276950
  2. Volunteer: Our volunteers are assembling over 4,000 bags of food a week, delivering groceries to seniors at home, and so much more. We literally can’t do this without you! Sign up at https://foodbanksbc.org/give-help/volunteer/
  3. Make a mask: We cannot do our job or allow volunteers to help us if we cannot be safe. We need homemade masks! They can be dropped off at 4554 Hollister Ave or 490 W. Foster Rd. on Friday between 10:30-11am. If you have store-bought PPE, please bring those to a donation site to be redirected to emergency and medical staff. Details at https://foodbanksbc.org/give-help/volunteer/
  4. Donate Food: If you excess shelf-stable food you would like to donate, please bring it to 4554 Hollister Ave between 1 and 3pm only, or to the bin located outside at 490 W. Foster Rd.
  5. Spread the word: Share Foodbank messages on social media and with your friends! Often, we can’t tell who is struggling and in need of resources.
