We have over 50 active food distribution sites in order to meet growing community need countywide. We work with partner agencies all over the county to make food distributions as local and accessible as possible. Use the Google map below to find the site nearest you.
We have over 50 active food distribution sites in order to meet growing community need countywide. We work with partner agencies all over the county to make food distributions as local and accessible as possible.
Fresh, healthy meals are prepared and cooked by our partner agencies using food provided by the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.
In January 2021, the Older Adult Nutrition Program transitioned to a home delivery service for low-income seniors who are homebound and/or have no social support to pick up food on their behalf.
The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County offers healthy meals for kids as well as nutritional education.
CalFresh is available to individuals and families with low incomes, including seniors, college students, and veterans. Citizens and most legal residents are eligible. Undocumented immigrants are usually not eligible but can apply for their children who are legal residents or U.S. citizens.
The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County does not require documentation from community members who wish to receive food. We do not share any record of people receiving assistance with the federal government. We believe food is a basic human need and our food pantries and meal programs are there to feed people in need, regardless of race, religion or citizenship.El Banco de Alimentos del Condado de Santa Barabara no requere documentacion de los miembros de la comunidad quien desean comida.
