Celebrating Empty Bowls Together
Get ready for the 25th anniversary of Santa Barbara Empty Bowls!
November 13th, 11am – 3pm.
Empty Bowls is a signature community celebration that benefits the Foodbank and its mission to end hunger and transform the health of Santa Barbara County. This year, we will celebrate with an outdoor pottery marketplace, where guests can explore a range of holiday gift options. All sales benefit the mission we so strongly believe in, so don’t forget to bring your holiday shopping list!!
Santa Barbara Empty Bowls demonstrates the value in nourishing one another – especially the most vulnerable among us – with a simple meal of soup from a handmade bowl.
Each guest takes a locally handcrafted bowl home as a reminder of the meal’s purpose: to provide healthy food for those facing hunger in our community.

About the Event:
Pick your ticket time. You will park at Parking Lot 3 at San Marcos High School and a shuttle will bring you to the Santa Barbara Warehouse. Once you have checked in, you will get to pick out your very own ‘empty bowl’. The pottery and ceramics at the Empty Bowls marketplace make meaningful gifts- just in time for the holidays!! All proceeds will go towards providing healthy food to families and individuals facing hunger this holiday season.
You can learn more about the work of the Foodbank, with tours of the warehouse. There will be a raffle of amazing items and experiences, and all funds raised will be used to nourish those in need in our community. As you exit, there will be soups to go for you to take home and enjoy!!

Explore unique one-of-a-kind sculptures and ceramics from some of Santa Barbara’s most beloved artists. This gallery will have bidding available online until 6pm on Friday, November 11th. You do not have to be an Empty Bowls ticket holder to bid, however, for the best chance at winning your desired item(s), event attendance is recommended as event guests will have a final opportunity to bid on items in person at Empty Bowls on Sunday, November 13th.
