Lompoc Empty Bowls Returns for a ‘Souper’ Fundraiser After Two-Year Hiatus

Event serves hundreds of supporters and raises about $60,000 for the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County

The empty bowls were filled again Wednesday after a two-year hiatus in Lompoc. The 17th Lompoc Empty Bowls, a Foodbank of Santa Barbara County fundraiser, had been planned for late March 2020, but it was canceled days beforehand because of the COVID-19 lockdown. The Lompoc event also skipped 2021, setting the stage for a midsummer return in 2022.
