Foodbank and its 300 nonprofit partners are able to turn $1 into eight healthy meals, says Erik Talkin, the CEO for Foodbank of Santa Barbara County. With an operating budget of $4 million cash and $10 million of in-kind food donations, the group needs to raise $888,282 to reach its goal for next year’s programs.
